suamiku a.k.a anep pergi ke suatu majlis kenduri kahwin bersama rakan-rakan sepejabat di sungai buloh di malam minggu yang lalu. aku tidak menemaninya kerana aku lebih rela berehat di rumah setelah bekerja di sebelah siang.

setelah selesai majlis tersebut, suamiku a.k.a anep telah menelefonku seraya bertanya samaada aku memerlukan apa-apa kudapan sebelum tido. oleh kerana aku sudahpun kenyang selepas melantak sushi, aku said no tenks. chekononnya untuk siap siaga demi menonton perlawanan bola switzerland vs czech republic, aku menyediakan bantal dan air kosong secukupnya. tetapi sayang sekali, baru saja wisel pertama berbunyi, aku telah zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….

tiba-tiba aku dikejutkan dengan deringan telefon cilikku pada jam 4.30 pagi. ternyata encik senoi merangkap rakan suamiku a.k.a anep yang menelefonku untuk memberitahu bahawasanya suamiku a.k.a anep telah dihantar ke kg baru medical centre. chekonon sebelum itu mereka ke restoran al andalus untuk menonton bola, namun suamiku a.k.a anep memberitahu bahawa dia ingin berehat di dalam kereta barang sebentar kerana kepalanya sakit. sehingga wisel terakhir berbunyi kelibat suamiku a.k.a anep tidak terlihat di restoran itu. lantas rakan-rakan pergi ke kereta suamiku a.k.a anep dimana dia dijumpai kekejangan di dalam kereta.

encik senoi telah dengan baik hatinya datang ke rumah aku untuk membawa aku ke pusat perubatan tersebut di subuh2 sunyi. setelah aku naik ke wad, kelihatan suamiku a.k.a anep sedang berehat di atas katil, namun tangan kanannya masih kejang sedikit dan terketar-ketar. Jururawat memberitahu tekanan darah suamiku a.k.a anep adalah 148/78 dan dia mempunyai tahap karbohidrat yang terlalu tinggi di dalam badan. di sebalik itu juga, dia kekurangan garam maka terus disambungkan ke talian IV. aku pulang pada pagi itu dengan bermacam-macam kemusykilan, namun aku tetap bersyukur suamiku a.k.a anep OK.

esoknya aku kembali ke pusat perubatan tersebut membawa segala macam perkakas seorang lelaki. di sebelah petangnya zana dan tok & tokwan dan maksu nya & bakal paksu nya & bibik tiba dari kampung.

anak sapakah ini yang mencuri lauk pesakit dengan sukacitanya?

harapan kami anak-beranak semoga anda yang membaca post ini dapat mendoakan kesihatan dan kesejahteraan suamiku a.k.a anep agar dia cepat sembuh dan pulang ke rumah.

untuk menulis blog. and it’s not because i don’t have the time for it.. god knows what i’ve been doing lately at the office hehehehe.. maybe it’s just writer’s block. or more accurately, somebody-who-started-a-blog-but-didnt-think-of-the-repercussions block 😛 anyways, i’m back from teluk batik!! 5 shades darker, hundreds of RM poorer, but it was one of the best trips after soooo long (it will go down as my first annual leave of 2008 after 5 months with this co).

some tidbits:

• did my confirmation appraisal with DaBoss. and HOORAY!! slightly early confirmation, plus a salary review to boot. weehoo!! thanks boss!
• received 1st duit kutu, did not even reach my hands as i had to use it for err… more pressing issues 🙂
• anep’s birthday yesterday! took the day off and had a birthday lunch at klcc together with zana who said “hepi besthdei ayahhh” before falling asleep in her spaghetti
• zana can now sing queen’s we will rock you. zezz will be proud to hear this
• zana thinks the p ramlee song ‘achi2 buka pintu’ is about her. hahahahah (re: nana balik pukul satu

happy 81st birthday, tokmi!! May 20, 2008

with 4 sons, 5 daughters, 9 menantus, 30-odd grandchildren  & 3 great-grandchildren, you go, girl!! hehehe.. can i tell her that, hmm?

some facts about my grandma:

• used to drive her cucus around in a sporty red mazda astina
• cucus call her tokmi. grand cucus pun dipressure to call her tokmi.. LOL
• never forgets a birthday. every year i will get a birthday card with the words CUCUANDA WIDYA or CUCUNDA WIDI or CUCUNDA WIDYA NATASYA. dulu2 sebelum keja dapat gak duit with the birthday card. skang dapat kad je heheheh
• she is oblivious of crowds. example: she used to love shopping. at globe in jalan tuanku abdul rahman. during school holidays AND during lunch hour.
• she is the best tokmi a cucu can ever have!

i’m back! May 6, 2008

yawn.. satu bulan siot from the last post to this one. i was kept busy with 80% work and 20% family matters. takde hibernasi2 okkeh? and since i only have a few minutes at my desk before going off to matrade for booth setup, i’ll just put last month’s activities in a summary 🙂

1. KL International Book Fair 2008 – korang pegi tak? tak nampak aku ke? wakakakkak

2. Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia @ MITC Melaka – korang pegi tak? tak nampak aku ke? wakakakkak

3. Bijou Bazaar’s event @ Bangsar – supposed to play guitar here.. ended up with stagefright and left the guitar in my car 😛 anyways, zana falling in the pool was news by itself.

4. Khalisah Nadiah’s 1st birthday – Zana’s 2nd cousin.. i think. KN is Yoi’s daughter, Yoi is my cousin, so that makes KN and Zana 2nd cousins kan? We had yummilicious helpings of marshmallows, campo dengan chocolate syrup (they actually had a chocolate fountain)

5. 2 x saman parking polis + 2 x saman parking dbkl hehehehehehehehehe

6. Malaysian Press Night 2008 @ one world hotel yang membuatkan aku miss reunion tkc 1st may sebab dok shopping baju 😦 dan juga membuatkan aku miss dinner kat bulgogi sebab aku kena attend dinner tu sebab aku jadik usherer. on another note, disebabkan aku jadik usherer, aku dapat elaun serat steng.. hahahhahah

eventhough i’m only in my 3rd month with mmp, da boss requested me to assist him checking last year’s accounts figures to put in this year’s business plan.

penat siot nak tgk setiap satu page dalam satu tahun punya accounts statement huwarghhhhhh!!!

consequences nye termasuk laa terjumpa sehelai dua uban kat kepala malam tadi.

i’m just going to put it down as stress-related. or maybe coz i played 6 bowling games back-to-back in one night. (lengan kanan aku dah muskul. hehe.)

speaking of hair, anybody got any tips how to control rambut gugur?

i watch the flags and posters and whatnots increasing in numbers each day i go to work and come back home. lama2 camni aku tak nampak jalan laa jawabnya.

am i voting this year? i might. although i can say as of now i still don’t know if i’m pretty sure my vote will go to the right person. since i don’t live nor work in the particular constituency now.. i haven’t got the chance to see the candidates campaigning, although i’m pretty sure the incumbent did quite a good job previously. but i must say, the ‘changes’ side has made an impressive campaign program online. i don’t see a lot of that from the ‘maintains’ people. wake up laa all you datuks datins! it’s the information age! takkan nak harap kempen kat padang je.

election news aside, my department’s inaugural bowling tournament will kick off tonight… don’t play play! hehe.

i’m sure as hell not gonna win the trophy tonight, hence my team name (check below)

how do u guys read your books?

do u skim and finish the whole thing in a day? or read them thoroughly, one page at a time? or do u skip some chapters and concentrate on some others?

i just noticed that i tend to concentrate so much when reading that i forget i have a two-year-old.. hehehehe. i started reading this jeffrey archer novel since kelmarin, and successfully finished it within 2 days. tapi i think there are a few key elements that i missed, sebab ada bits here n there that i didn’t get. since i know i won’t be able to sleep easy until i figure the darned story out, i have to go back and catch up on the sub-plots that link the whole thing together and ignore zana again at least until dinnertime. 😛

sigh.. if only i was this dedicated during my schoolyears.
