5. How did you spend your summer? it’s summer all year round here babe, so i spend it by going to work in the weekdays and layan zana during the weekends

7. What was the last thing you had drink? air kosong during sahur

8. What are you wearing right now? baju kurung n other required garments.. hehe

9. What was your last purchase? air soya n cucur udang for buka puasa

10.What was the last food you ate? sahur! rice with fried chicken n asam pedas ikan

11. Who would be the person you would call if you were up in the middle of the night and couldn’t sleep? this usually happens if hubby’s away. so definitely will call him

12. Have you bought any clothing items in the last week? ada.. shopping spree at tesco!

hari gelabah September 5, 2007

on my way to the zoo with zana last weekend, i hit a car.

it was a spanking new honda civic.

it definitely was an accident! what more with the rain, slippery road.. and worn-out tires on my old-but-steady car.

so i got out of my car, checked the civic’s bumper.. no dents, but the right side looked a bit dodgy. gelabah dah ni!

then the other driver, a lady about mama’s age came out, we exchanged our numbers cause don’t want to block the road maaa.. and furthermore it was raining. the lady said she will bring her car to a honda workshop the next day, and get an estimate. i said ok, padahal gelabah lagi nih. ya laa.. the cost could go up to hundreds, or even thousands!

so i continued my trip to the zoo, all the while ringing up numerous figures in my head. sampai ke rumah, dok pikir lagi.

then next morning, came the ‘dreaded’ phone call.

“hi widya, this is aunty maznah. aunty kat honda workshop ni.. they’ve checked my car, and i only need to replace 1 bumper screw. RM25 je.. so tak payah bayar lah.. these things happen.”

she still refused payment even after i insisted on banking it into her account. props to you aunty maznah ismail, u restored my faith in humanity if you and your family want to come buka puasa here, just give me a call!
